CS2 pistol skins guide: P250, Five-SeveN, Tec-9, CZ75, P2000, Berettas and R8

Notable skins for seven CS2 pistols, from the CZ75-Auto Victoria to the R8 Fade: where each came from, its rarity and float window, and which have StatTrak or Souvenir versions.

The Glock-18, USP-S and Desert Eagle get their own guides. This one covers the other seven pistols, which between them have dozens of finishes but only six Coverts. For each gun you get the side that uses it and the finishes with the clearest histories.

The P2000 is the CT starting pistol alternative to the USP-S, covered in our USP-S guide. The R8 shared a loadout slot with the Desert Eagle in Global Offensive; see the Desert Eagle guide for that one.

P250

The P250's only Covert is See Ya Later, a green mechanised crocodile with yellow detailing from the Spectrum 2 Case (September 2017). Below it sit several well-known Classifieds:

  • Mehndi (Winter Offensive Case, December 2013): a paisley-pattern hydrographic.
  • Undertow (CS:GO Weapon Case 3, February 2014): a silver slide over a blue and black spotted receiver, capped at 0.20.
  • Asiimov (Chroma 3 Case, April 2016): the Asiimov sci-fi design, with a range of 0.10 to 1.00, so no Factory New. Its flavour text quotes Mikha Biton, a Phoenix sniper.
  • Franklin (Bank Collection, May 2014): a hydrographic of American hundred-dollar bills, capped at 0.40. Valve added the Bank Collection to the drop list with the Huntsman update.

Nuclear Threat (Restricted) shows radiological hazard patterns and comes from the original Nuke Collection, so its Souvenir copies came from Nuke packages at Majors up to Boston 2018.

Five-SeveN and Tec-9

These are counterparts: the Five-SeveN is CT-only, and the Tec-9 is its T-side equivalent.

The Five-SeveN has two Coverts. Hyper Beast came in the Operation Hydra Case in May 2017, two years after the M4A1-S and AWP versions. Angry Mob (Prisma Case, March 2019) is a brightly coloured design inspired by street art. Its Case Hardened (CS:GO Weapon Case 2, November 2013) is Restricted, but like the AK-47 version its look depends on the paint seed; our blue gem guide covers it. Monkey Business (Chroma 2 Case) is described simply as "a banana" and runs from 0.10 to 0.90, so there is no Factory New.

The Tec-9 has no Covert. Its notable finishes include the Classified Fuel Injector (Gamma 2 Case, August 2016), a yellow body with a belt-engine magazine that shares its name and look with the AK-47 Covert, and Remote Control from the 2018 Nuke Collection, which has Souvenir copies from Nuke packages between 2018 and 2025. The Tec-9 also has a Nuclear Threat, identical in description to the P250's. Its Mil-Spec Isaac (Huntsman Case) carries the same in-game description as the Asiimov series: "custom painted with a sci-fi design".

CZ75-Auto

Valve introduced the CZ75-Auto on February 12, 2014 as a fully automatic alternative to the P250 with far less ammunition. Its first finishes came in the CS:GO Weapon Case 3 the same day, which the wiki notes is the only collection made entirely of pistol skins.

That case holds the CZ's only Covert, Victoria, hand-engraved with a scroll pattern and gold accents, and the Classified The Fuschia Is Now, a chrome base candied in fuchsia and charcoal, capped at 0.40. Later Classifieds include Yellow Jacket (Falchion Case, 2015) and Xiangliu (Spectrum Case, 2017), nine purple and gold snakes. Emerald, a Mil-Spec from the Chop Shop Collection, is chrome candied in transparent green and capped at 0.08.

P2000

The P2000's only Covert is Fire Elemental from the Operation Vanguard Case (November 2014), a creature made of fire, capped at 0.60. Ocean Foam (Operation Bravo Case) is "a memento from Seaside" with a range that stops at 0.12, so it only exists in Factory New and Minimal Wear. Corticera (eSports 2014 Summer Case) runs only from 0.06 to 0.30, and Imperial Dragon (Gamma Case, 2016) is a dragon in red metallic paint.

Amber Fade (Restricted) comes from the Dust 2 Collection, part of the new set of drops Valve introduced in November 2013. Dust II souvenir packages between 2013 and 2019 drew from it, so Souvenir copies exist.

Dual Berettas

The Dual Berettas have no Covert. Their notable Classifieds are Cobra Strike (Operation Hydra Case, May 2017), a hand-painted cobra on each grip; Twin Turbo from the 2018 Inferno Collection, a homage to an Italian racing car, with Souvenirs from Inferno packages at 11 Majors from London 2018 to Budapest 2025; and Melondrama (Dreams & Nightmares Case, January 2022), a twisted watermelon over navy blue.

R8 Revolver

Valve added the R8 Revolver with its Winter Update in December 2015, along with the Revolver Case. Its Covert, Fade, came in that case. Unlike most gun Fades it isn't capped at 0.08: its range reaches 0.40, so Field-Tested and a sliver of Well-Worn exist. Valve also put R8 finishes into existing collections; the Classified Amber Fade sits in the Dust 2 Collection rather than a case, so it has no StatTrak version.

Two later Classifieds have unusual windows. Llama Cannon (Spectrum 2 Case) starts at 0.03, and Skull Crusher (Prisma Case), yellow flames with red and white accents, runs from 0.25 to 0.80, so it has no Factory New or Minimal Wear at all.

Before you trade

On these guns the float window often decides more than the finish name. Ocean Foam, Emerald and Undertow only come in clean exteriors, while Skull Crusher and Monkey Business can't be Factory New at all. The float guide explains the tiers. StatTrak is limited to case finishes, so Franklin, Nuclear Threat, Emerald and both Amber Fades have no StatTrak versions. On CS2Sell, Buy filters by weapon, float range and StatTrak, which makes it easier to compare these smaller pistols.
