Desert Eagle skins guide: Blaze, Printstream, Golden Koi and more

The Desert Eagle's notable CS2 skins: its four Coverts, the Blaze and other low-float finishes, the Heat Treated limited edition, and which ones have StatTrak or Souvenir versions.

The Desert Eagle has 45 finishes in the current game files, but only four of them are Covert. Several of its notable skins sit lower down the rarity ladder, including the Blaze, which is only Restricted. This guide covers the notable ones, grouped by rarity.

The pistol

The Desert Eagle is a heavy pistol that both teams can buy. The Counter-Strike Wiki lists it at $700 with a seven-round magazine, and notes that in Global Offensive it shared a loadout slot with the R8 Revolver, which our pistol skins guide covers along with the other sidearms.

The four Coverts

PrintstreamFracture CaseAug 20200.00–0.80
Ocean DriveOperation Riptide CaseSep 20210.00–1.00

All four come from cases, so all four can be StatTrak. Golden Koi is "a memento from Chinatown", one of the community maps in Operation Bravo, covered in metallic foil with a scale pattern. Its range stops at 0.12, so it only exists in Factory New and Minimal Wear.

Printstream was the first finish in the black and white pearlescent series, arriving in the Fracture Case on August 6, 2020. The M4A1-S, USP-S and AWP versions followed between 2020 and 2025. Code Red is a bright red base with white detailing, and Ocean Drive uses oversaturated colours and shapes; Valve's flavour text for it jokes that you "can't miss".

Hypnotic, from the very first case, is a pearl base coat sprayed black through a stencil, capped at 0.08. Cobalt Disruption is metallic foil stamped with a digital camouflage pattern and stops at 0.20. Kumicho Dragon has dragons laser-etched onto the slide and grip. Fennec Fox shows a fox on the barrel; as a map collection skin it can't be StatTrak, but Mirage souvenir packages at eight Majors from Stockholm 2021 to Budapest 2025 produced Souvenir copies.

Heat Treated was the first Limited Edition item in the Armory, added on October 2, 2024 and withdrawn in January 2025. Its description is word for word the one Case Hardened uses: "color case-hardened through the application of wood charcoal at high temperatures". It is a separate paint kit, though, so what collectors know about Case Hardened seeds, covered in our blue gem guide, doesn't carry over to it.

Later Classified additions include Starcade from the Armory's Graphic Design Collection (October 2024) and Eastern Enigma from the Arabesque Collection (July 2026).

Notable Restricted finishes

Blaze is a flame design (its internal name in the game files is "aa_flames") airbrushed in transparent paints over a chrome base, capped at 0.08, so it only exists in Factory New and Minimal Wear. It comes from the Dust Collection, one of the ten collections released with the Arms Deal update in August 2013. Valve swapped those original drops for new collections that November, and the wiki lists the Dust Collection as out of the drop pool. It isn't in any souvenir package and, as a map collection skin, has no StatTrak version.

Crimson Web (eSports 2014 Summer Case) is a spider-web hydrographic over red, with a range of 0.06 to 0.80, and can be StatTrak. Hand Cannon has brass parts with an acid patina inspired by antique cannons; it shares the Cobblestone Collection with the Dragon Lore, so Souvenir copies came from the same ten Cobblestone packages.

Sunset Storm comes in two versions from the Rising Sun Collection, marked 壱 and 弐. Both show a stormy sea over red metallic paint, and the flavour text hints at the difference: "You think it's the same, but look again". Other Restricted picks include Naga (Chroma Case), engraved with a mythological motif, and Emerald Jörmungandr (Norse Collection), showing the World Serpent in green. The newest is Firebreathing from the Dead Hand Collection (March 2026), purple and blue flames in pearlescent paint, which also comes in StatTrak.

Before you trade a Deagle skin

Blaze, Golden Koi and Hypnotic only come in the two cleanest exteriors, so the float within Factory New or Minimal Wear is what separates copies. The float guide covers the tiers. For StatTrak or Souvenir copies, remember which finishes can have them: case skins for StatTrak, map collections such as Mirage and Cobblestone for Souvenirs. On CS2Sell, the float range, StatTrak and Souvenir filters on Buy narrow listings to the version you want.
