Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-10-12
1. Acceptance
By accessing CS2Sell you agree to these terms. We may update them; we'll notify you of material changes by email or in-app.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, have a Steam account, and not be resident in a jurisdiction where skin marketplaces are prohibited.
3. Bot trades vs P2P
Items sold by our bots or partner markets are sent to you as a Steam trade offer after you pay. P2P trades require the CS2Sell browser extension: the buyer's payment stays in escrow until the Steam trade has passed its trade-protection window and the extension has verified it with Steam.
4. Trade reversals
If a counterparty reverses a trade within Steam's 7-day window, we will refund the buyer in full from escrow and penalize the reverser's trust score.
5. Fees
Sellers pay a percentage fee on completed sales, shown before they list. Buyers pay no platform fee. Withdrawals are paid in USDT on Tron (TRC-20) or Ethereum (ERC-20) and carry a flat fee, shown before you confirm. Current fees are listed on the home page.
6. Wallet, holds and withdrawals
Funds you deposit, referral rewards you claim and case prizes and daily claims (section 8), together your purchase balance, can only be spent on purchases on CS2Sell; they can't be withdrawn, and refunds of purchases paid with them are returned to your balance under the same rule. CS2Sell is not a currency exchange. You can withdraw proceeds from your sales and trades once their trade protection ends.
Funds from P2P sales are held for 7 days to mirror Steam's trade lock. Every withdrawal needs a two-factor code, and large withdrawals are reviewed by our staff before they're sent.
7. Referral program
Every account has a referral code and an invite link. A person counts as referred by you when they open your link (or any CS2Sell page with your code in it) and create a new account within 30 days, or when they enter your code within the first days after signing up. Only the first invite a browser opened counts. Signing in to an account that already exists, or linking another sign-in method to it, doesn't make anyone a referral, and you can't refer yourself.
For each Buy, Trade or Sell instantly transaction a referred user completes, you earn a share of the revenue CS2Sell makes on that transaction, not of its price. Your share depends on your tier, which goes up with the total settled volume of everyone you referred; the current tiers, rates and any end date are shown on your Referrals page. Someone who signs up with an invite gets a share of our revenue on their own transactions back for a limited period (rakeback), shown when they sign up. We may change rates and tiers; a commission keeps the rate it was recorded with.
A commission stays pending until its transaction is final: the Steam trade has been accepted and its trade-protection window has passed, plus a safety margin. It then becomes available and you can claim it to your purchase balance, from the minimum amount and at the interval shown on your Referrals page. Claimed rewards can be spent on CS2Sell but not withdrawn (section 6). Claims are rounded down to the cent and the rest carries over; each claim has a statement listing the commissions in it. If a transaction is reversed, refunded or canceled, its commission is canceled; if you had already claimed it, the amount is taken back from your balance.
You can pick your own code once every 30 days, and your earlier codes keep working for you. Codes that imitate another user, CS2Sell or a brand, or that are offensive or reserved, can't be used, and we may change or disable such a code. We may hold commissions for review, freeze a referral balance, cancel commissions that come from fake or duplicate accounts, self-referrals or other abuse, and end someone's participation in the program. Commissions that are canceled for abuse aren't paid out.
8. Rewards and cases
Every Buy, Trade or Sell instantly transaction earns its buyer and its seller XP from the revenue CS2Sell makes on it, once the transaction is final (section 7); trades with our own bots earn none. Every level your XP reaches gives you a key for the case of the tier you're in. The same transactions fill your daily pool: once per UTC day you can claim a share of it, either as balance, at the amount shown before you choose, or as a roll of a low, medium or high risk daily case. A day's share you don't claim is gone. Tiers, levels, the wait between two openings of the same tier and the daily share are shown on your Rewards page.
Someone who signs up with an invite gets a welcome case with their first transaction worth at least the minimum shown on their Rewards page. It can be opened once that transaction is paid, and stays tied to it: if the transaction is canceled, refunded or reversed, the key moves to another transaction of theirs that qualifies. With none left, an unopened key is removed and an opened case's prize is taken back from the balance, even below zero; a later qualifying transaction gives back the key, or the same prize.
Keys and cases can't be bought, sold or transferred, and opening one costs nothing. A prize is paid to your purchase balance at the value the case shows for it (in a daily case, a multiple of your claim); you don't receive the item itself, and the balance can't be withdrawn (section 6). Every roll is provably fair: before you open, you see the hash of the server seed we'll use; the result follows from that seed, your client seed and a counter, and the seed is revealed right after, so anyone can check it on the Provably fair page. A case's odds are published with their hash and a published table never changes; when we change a case it gets a new version, which applies only to later openings. Results are final.
Cases can't be opened from Belgium, the Netherlands or other countries where we restrict them; the daily pool can still be claimed there as balance. XP taken back with a reversed transaction doesn't take back the keys already earned with it. We may hold a welcome key while a referral is reviewed, revoke keys and take back prizes that come from fake or duplicate accounts, trading with yourself or other abuse, and change the program's rates, tiers and cases, or end it. Changes don't affect prizes already paid.
9. Suspension
We may suspend or restrict accounts for fraud, abuse, repeated reversals, or violation of these terms. Appeals are reviewed at/legal/aml.
10. Liability
