Glock-18 skins guide: Fade, Gamma Doppler, Wasteland Rebel and more

The Glock-18's notable CS2 skins, from the 2013 Fade and Dragon Tattoo to the Gamma Doppler phases and the 2026 Coverts: where each came from, its rarity and its float window.

The Glock-18 is the Terrorists' starting pistol, and it has 55 named finishes in the current game files, one of which, Gamma Doppler, comes in five phases. Until June 2016 it had no Covert at all; today it has seven. This guide covers the notable finishes and what sets each apart.

The pistol

Every Terrorist spawns with a Glock-18. The Counter-Strike Wiki lists it at $200 with a 20-round magazine and an optional three-round burst mode. The CT starting pistols are covered in our USP-S guide.

All three arrived with the Arms Deal update in August 2013. Valve's Arms Deal page listed the Assault and Dust collections among the ten it shipped that day, and the wiki now lists both as out of the drop pool.

Fade is airbrushed transparent paint over chrome, capped at 0.08, so it only exists in Factory New and Minimal Wear. As a map collection skin it has no StatTrak version. The paint seed rotates the gradient, which is what fade percentages measure; see our fade percentage guide. Dragon Tattoo is a dragon decal over a metallic base, also capped at 0.08, but because it came from the first weapon case it can be StatTrak. Brass replaces parts of the gun with brass; its flavour text is "Fool's gold".

Wasteland Rebel, from the Gamma Case in June 2016, was the first Covert Glock. It shares its name and its distressed, graffiti-painted style with the AK-47 Covert from Operation Vanguard. Bullet Queen shows a War Maiden in a pink jacket over yellow and black, with the flavour text "I'll stop shooting when you start shushing". Neo-Noir is the Glock's version of the blue-magenta Neo-Noir series that began on the USP-S.

Gamma Doppler is the only gun finish with Doppler-style phases. It comes in Phase 1 to 4 and Emerald, and the game files give each phase its own paint number, as our Doppler phases guide explains. It belongs to the 2021 Train Collection from Operation Riptide, so it can't be StatTrak, and unlike the knife versions it isn't capped at 0.08: its range reaches 0.50, into Battle-Scarred.

The newer Coverts lean on bold colour. Gold Toof, from the Armory's Gallery Case, has a pink grip and an "aggressive forward-facing gaze". Fully Tuned, one of two Coverts in the Dead Hand Collection, uses neon colours and metallic glitter paint. Ghost Protocol, from the Spy Tech Collection added to the Armory in July 2026, is red paint in varying sheens.

Classified finishes

  • Water Elemental (Operation Breakout Weapon Case, July 2014): a creature made of water in a graphic style.
  • Twilight Galaxy (Chop Shop Collection, May 2015): metal flake paint, capped at 0.20, so there is no Well-Worn or Battle-Scarred and Field-Tested copies only run from 0.15 to 0.20.
  • Vogue (Fracture Case, August 2020): a pair of pop-art eyes on the slide.
  • Snack Attack (Operation Riptide Case, September 2021): junk food trinkets suspended in resin.
  • Shinobu (Fever Case, March 2025): a woman on the slide wearing "SR Tech" contact lenses.
  • AXIA (Sport & Field Collection, October 2024): blue metal flake with fictional AXIA sports branding.

Restricted finishes with a story

Weasel (Gamma 2 Case, August 2016) carries a hydrographic of "Bobby the Mischievous Weasel". Moonrise (Clutch Case, February 2018) is one to inspect before buying, since its description says the city skyline in the foreground is randomized. Nuclear Garden from the 2018 Nuke Collection has a neon green slide and Souvenir copies from Nuke packages at 11 Majors between London 2018 and Budapest 2025. Umbral Rabbit (Revolution Case, February 2023) shows a rabbit hopping before a full moon, and Block-18 (Kilowatt Case, February 2024) splits the gun into coloured blocks.

Two early Restricted Glocks also have narrow windows: Steel Disruption from the eSports 2014 Summer Case (0.00 to 0.20) and Grinder from Operation Vanguard (0.02 to 0.25).

Before you trade a Glock skin

For Fade and Gamma Doppler, the float tells you only part of the story: check the fade layout or the phase on the actual copy. For capped finishes such as Fade, Dragon Tattoo and Twilight Galaxy, compare floats inside their narrow windows, using the float guide. On CS2Sell, Buy filters by Doppler phase, fade percentage, float range and paint seed.
