CS2 Season 5 Armory update (July 2026): Arabesque, Spy Tech and two sticker collections

The July 8, 2026 Armory refresh added the Arabesque and Spy Tech collections and the Fruits & Vegetables and Auto Racing stickers. Every item by rarity, and how Valve's Call to Arms worked.

On July 8, 2026, alongside the start of Premier Season Five, Valve added four community-made collections to the Armory: the Arabesque and Spy Tech weapon collections, and the Fruits & Vegetables and Auto Racing sticker collections. All four came out of a themed "Call to Arms" that Valve opened to Workshop artists in December 2025, under new terms that pay a flat licence fee. Valve's announcement was titled "Season 5, Armory, and More".

At the same time, the Train 2025 and Sport & Field weapon collections and the Sugarface 2 and Elemental Craft sticker collections left the Armory. The map pool, bomb damage and community map changes from the same day are in our Season Five article.

How the Call to Arms worked

On December 5, 2025, Valve introduced optional Supplemental Terms for Workshop artists. Under them, Valve can license an item for a flat fee: $35,000 for a weapon finish, $6,000 for a sticker and $6,000 for a charm. If an account accepts the terms, all of its Workshop items can be distributed in places where community items previously couldn't go, "such as The Armory". PCGamesN pointed out the trade-off: a very popular item could earn more under the usual revenue share over its lifetime, and artists who prefer that model can stay on it.

The same post opened "A Call to Arms-ory" with four themes:

  • Weapon finishes: "Arabesque Art and Arabian Mythology" and "Spy/Tech".
  • Stickers: "Auto Racing" and "Fruits and Vegetables".

Artists submitted through the updated Workshop tool and had to re-submit and tag any older items they felt fit. Valve also released a new paint type for finishes, Custom Paint Job Extended, with options for iridescence. The July 8 notes added two more options to it: a dedicated overlay mask texture and separate UV randomisation for the overlay.

Valve's post doesn't name the artists whose work was chosen. On July 16 it congratulated "the artists who had their items included".

The Arabesque Collection

Seventeen finishes inspired by Arabesque art and Arabian mythology. Like the other Armory weapon collections, it has no knives or gloves; the top tier is Covert.

  • Covert: AK-47 | Consequence of the Jinn, AWP | Sovereign Flame
  • Classified: Desert Eagle | Eastern Enigma, M4A4 | Falak
  • Restricted: AUG | Lapis Lazuli, Glock-18 | Ifrit Lattice, P250 | Lotus Imprint
  • Mil-Spec Grade: FAMAS | Snake Song, MAC-10 | Arabesque Mosaic, Sawed-Off | Lunar Wyrm, Tec-9 | Sultan
  • Industrial Grade: Dual Berettas | Mystic Conjunction, Five-SeveN | Desert Seal, MP9 | Dune Asp, Nova | Morning Sun, PP-Bizon | Traitor, SCAR-20 | Sirocco Script

The collection is unrelated to the AK-47 | Gold Arabesque, the Covert of the 2021 Dust 2 Collection. You can see the whole collection on Buy.

The Spy Tech Collection

Seventeen finishes on the Spy/Tech theme, again topping out at Covert.

  • Covert: AK-47 | AUTOEXEC, Glock-18 | Ghost Protocol
  • Classified: M4A1-S | Fatal Glitch, USP-S | Spiral Glitch
  • Restricted: AWP | Black Box, CZ75-Auto | Hydraulics, Nova | Smart Gun
  • Mil-Spec Grade: AUG | Signal Scanner, M4A4 | Dark Operative, MP9 | Spy Prototype, R8 Revolver | Monarch
  • Industrial Grade: FAMAS | Corp Defense, MAC-10 | Video Cam, MP7 | Base-2, SCAR-20 | Arctic Camo Panels, Tec-9 | Perimeter, XM1014 | Black Site

The whole set is on Buy.

Both collections share the same shape: two Coverts, two Classifieds, three Restricted, four Mil-Spec and six Industrial Grade skins. The Train 2025 and Sport & Field collections they replaced had 16 skins each, with a single Covert.

How redemption works

Picking a collection in the Armory gives you one random item from it, with rarer tiers less likely, so you choose the set, not the skin. Esports.gg listed the prices as 4 credits for a random weapon skin and 1 credit for a random sticker, the same as when the Armory launched. The Armory explainer covers passes and credits.

Fruits & Vegetables stickers

Valve calls this set Fruits & Vegetables; the collection label on the items reads Fruits And Veggies. Unlike the Jackass capsule released the week before, every design here comes in exactly one finish, so there is no paper copy of a lenticular and no foil copy of a paper sticker.

  • Extraordinary (lenticular), 2: Pepper Gauge, Pineapple On Pizza
  • Exotic (foil), 5: B-A-N-A-N-A-S, Bananart, Dragon Fruit, Early Bird, Fruit Fly
  • Remarkable, 8: Aceberry (glitter), Apple A Day (glitter), From The Vine, Hot Pepper, Juice Box, Knife Streak, Quality Control, Ultra Fruity (all holo)
  • High Grade (paper), 12: Agent Kucumber, B'nana Strike, Box Logo, Cry Baby, Fresh Cut, From The Source, Heckler, Lemin, Peekle, Pungent Comms, Radish K, Scratch N' Whiff

All 27 are on Buy.

Auto Racing stickers

The Auto Racing set also uses one finish per design, and every Remarkable sticker in it is holo.

  • Extraordinary (lenticular), 4: Burnout, Digital Dashboard, Handheld, NITRO!
  • Exotic (foil), 5: Born To Peek, Eco Mode, Lucky Charms, Sniper Ahead, Turbo Peek
  • Remarkable (holo), 6: Cone Zone, Engine Start, First Lap, Neo-Hold, Neo-Rush, Safety First
  • High Grade (paper), 13: Blaze Breeze, Bomb On Board, Boreal Blast, Bunnyhop Hydraulics, Checkered Kukri, Defusal Sprint, Killometer, Please Be Patient, Roentgen Raceclub, Run Boost Lift Kits, Safari Shine, Sand Dune Baja Tour, W Performance Tires

One sticker was adjusted the next day: the July 9 patch changed how visible Sniper Ahead is when scraped. The full set is on Buy, and our stickers guide explains finishes and scraping.

The same update made sticker placement finer: rotation on the application screen now moves in half-degree steps.

The next call

On July 16, 2026, Valve opened a second round, "Call II Arms-ory". It asked for finishes for one weapon collection, Fairy Tales, and stickers for two sticker collections, Cryptids and Pop Art. To be included, artists must accept the Supplemental Terms. Valve gave no release date.

Where it stands now

Up to Valve's notes of October 8, 2026, none of the four collections has left the Armory, and nothing from the Fairy Tales, Cryptids or Pop Art call has been released. The Jackass Sticker Capsule, which came out five days before this update, was a separate release outside the Armory, covered in our Jackass capsule article.
