ZywOo: Team Vitality's three-time Major MVP, career and settings

Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut is the French AWPer who has played his whole top-flight career for Team Vitality. ZywOo has won three Majors, each time as MVP, has been HLTV's best player of the year four times, and holds the record for HLTV MVP awards, with 34 by October 2026. This profile follows his career up to October 27, 2026 and lists the settings published for him, with the source and date for each.

ZywOo at a glance

From French amateur teams to Vitality

ZywOo came up through small French sides, the last of them against All authority, which he joined in September 2017. HLTV says he turned professional after finishing high school, once his parents agreed. Team Vitality entered CS:GO on October 8, 2018 with NBK-, Dan "apEX" Madesclaire, Happy, RpK and ZywOo, then 17.

His first full year set the tone. HLTV named him Player of the Year for 2019, as a rookie, with five MVP awards and three trophies, and again for 2020 with six MVPs. In 2021 and 2022 he finished second, both times behind Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev.

ZywOo at the Majors

ZywOo has played 11 Majors with Vitality. Liquipedia lists the results:

The first title came at home, in front of a French crowd in Paris in 2023, and Liquipedia notes that Vitality won it without dropping a map. HLTV made him Player of the Year again for 2023. Our Paris 2023 article covers that event and its stickers.

2024 was leaner. Vitality's only title was IEM Cologne, and HLTV placed ZywOo third, behind Danil "donk" Kryshkovets and Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov. Robin "ropz" Kool then replaced Lotan "Spinx" Giladi in January 2025, and the new lineup took over. At the Austin Major, Valve noted, Vitality lost the first map of the final 13-5 to The MongolZ before winning 13-4 on Dust II and 13-6 on Inferno.

Budapest followed in December 2025. Liquipedia records that the win made Vitality only the fourth team to take back-to-back Majors, and that ZywOo became the first player with three Major MVP awards, and the second after Marcelo "coldzera" David to win them back to back. His eight MVPs in 2025 equalled the record for a calendar year, and HLTV made him the first four-time Player of the Year. Our Budapest 2025 article has the final.

ZywOo in 2026

After a semi-final exit at BLAST Bounty Winter, Vitality won five events in a row: IEM Kraków, PGL Cluj-Napoca, BLAST Open Spring, IEM Rio and BLAST Rivals Spring. The Rio win in April completed their second ESL Grand Slam. ZywOo was MVP at four of the five, and Cluj-Napoca gave him his 30th career MVP.

The Major went wrong. In Cologne, Falcons beat the defending champions 2-1 in the quarter-final, and Valve noted that every map went to 24 rounds; the full event is in our Cologne 2026 article. Spirit then knocked Vitality out of the Esports World Cup, with donk named MVP of that event, and MOUZ beat them in the BLAST Open Fall semi-final.

The autumn brought two more trophies, StarLadder StarSeries Fall and ESL Pro League Season 24, with ZywOo MVP at both. On August 19, 2026 he and apEX extended their contracts to the end of 2028. Valve's Regional Standings of October 5, 2026 placed Vitality third in the world with apEX, Shahar "flameZ" Shushan, William "mezii" Merriman, ropz and ZywOo; Rémy "XTQZZZ" Quoniam coaches them.

ZywOo settings

Settings change, and the two published lists below don't agree, which shows how often. The main column is ProSettings.net's page, last updated October 25, 2026 and read on October 27; Liquipedia's entry is dated December 17, 2025 and cites specs.gg.

ZywOo crosshair

ProSettings lists a Static Cross with length 2, thickness 2 and gap 2, no centre dot and no outline, in a cyan colour (red 0, green 233, blue 255) at full opacity. As commands: cl_crosshairstyle 4, cl_crosshair_length 2, cl_crosshair_thickness 2, cl_crosshair_gap 2, cl_crosshairdot 0, cl_crosshair_drawoutline 0, cl_crosshaircolor_r 0, cl_crosshaircolor_g 233, cl_crosshaircolor_b 255.

Valve rebuilt crosshairs in September 2026 and changed the share-code format on September 30, so the code Liquipedia took from Vitality's Budapest semi-final in December 2025 is in the old format.

ZywOo viewmodel

ProSettings lists viewmodel_fov 68, viewmodel_offset_x 2.5, viewmodel_offset_y 0 and viewmodel_offset_z -1.5. CS2's current files cap the field of view at 68 and the sideways offset at 2.5, so both are at their maximum.

ZywOo stickers and skins

His autograph has appeared at every Major he has played since Katowice 2019. He also has Champion autographs from Paris 2023, Austin 2025 and Budapest 2025, and Cologne 2026 added Ranked versions.

ProSettings tracks match loadouts too. On October 25, 2026 it showed a ★ Butterfly Knife | Doppler in the Sapphire phase and ★ Sport Gloves | Ultra Violent as current, alongside an AK-47 | Inheritance and a StatTrak AWP | Queen's Gambit. The sticker filter on Buy finds guns carrying one of his autographs.
