m0NESY: Team Falcons' AWPer and Cologne Major MVP, career and settings

Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov is the Russian AWPer who joined G2 Esports at 16 and moved to Team Falcons in April 2025. At his seventh Major, IEM Cologne 2026, he won the title and HLTV's MVP award after losing eight grand finals in a row. This profile covers his career up to October 28, 2026 and his published settings, with the source and date for each.

m0NESY at a glance

From NAVI Junior to G2

Natus Vincere's academy coach, Amiran "aMi" Rehviashvili, brought m0NESY to NAVI Junior on trial in January 2020, when he was 14, and FACEIT invited him to FPL, its top pickup league for professionals, that March. In the WePlay Academy League, a series for youth rosters, he had the best rating of the first season, 1.64, and NAVI Junior reached the Season 2 final, lost 2-0 to MOUZ NXT. G2 unveiled him on January 3, 2022, at 16, in what HLTV calls a reported $600,000 deal.

G2 Esports, 2022 to 2025

His first Big Event, HLTV's term for top-tier tournaments, was IEM Katowice 2022, where G2 lost the final 3-0 to FaZe Clan. In December they won the BLAST Premier World Final in Abu Dhabi, beating Liquid 2-0, and m0NESY was MVP with the event's best rating, 1.24. HLTV called him the youngest Big Event MVP ever at the time and named him its Rookie of the Year.

G2 won IEM Katowice and IEM Cologne in 2023. In 2024 they added IEM Dallas, the BLAST Premier Fall Final and the BLAST Premier World Final, with m0NESY MVP at all three. HLTV ranked him second for the year, behind Danil "donk" Kryshkovets, and named him AWPer of the Year.

By HLTV's count he and Nikola "NiKo" Kovač won six trophies together at G2 before NiKo left in December 2024.

m0NESY at the Majors

He has played seven Majors, four with G2 and three with Falcons. Since his debut he has missed only IEM Rio 2022, after G2 lost 2-1 to GamerLegion at the European RMR, the regional qualifier. Liquipedia lists the results:

After the Shanghai semi-final, his last Major with NiKo at G2, he told HLTV: "I cried a lot that day after the game."

Falcons and the Cologne Major

Falcons confirmed his signing on April 14, 2025, the day after they beat G2 3-0 in the PGL Bucharest final, without disclosing the terms. "I wanted to play with NiKo. I believe we can win a lot of tournaments together and finally get him a Major," he said on a podcast, as HLTV reported.

The rest of 2025 brought near misses, starting with finals lost to Vitality at IEM Melbourne and BLAST Rivals Spring. He was MVP of ESL Pro League Season 22 and BLAST Rivals Fall 2025 even though Falcons lost both finals, and it was the first year of his career without a trophy.

Falcons lost three more finals in the first half of 2026, two after Finn "karrigan" Andersen replaced kyxsan as in-game leader on April 20. In Cologne they beat Vitality 2-1, Spirit 2-1 and FURIA 3-0 in the playoffs. m0NESY had a 1.80 rating over the first two maps of the final and opened Anubis with a four-kill pistol round on the Dual Berettas.

HLTV named him MVP on a 1.25 rating, ahead of NiKo and kyousuke, who had as many map awards. It was his first Major final and his seventh MVP. The Cologne 2026 article covers the event and its Major Shop.

Falcons haven't reached a final since. On October 12 they extended his contract to 2030, and HLTV said he had averaged a 1.29 rating for them. Their next Major is the title defence at the PGL Major Singapore.

m0NESY settings

ProSettings.net's page, last updated October 25, 2026 and read on October 28, is the main column. Liquipedia's entries are older: mouse settings dated September 15, 2021 and display settings January 11, 2023. eDPI is DPI multiplied by sensitivity.

m0NESY crosshair

ProSettings lists the Static Square style, which Valve added on September 23, 2026, with a centre dot, length 4, thickness 2 and gap 0, no outline, in cyan (red 0, green 255, blue 246) at full opacity. As commands: cl_crosshairstyle 8, cl_crosshairdot 1, cl_crosshair_length 4, cl_crosshair_thickness 2, cl_crosshair_gap 0, cl_crosshair_drawoutline 0, cl_crosshaircolor_r 0, cl_crosshaircolor_g 255, cl_crosshaircolor_b 246.

Liquipedia's share code for him is from January 2024, in the format Valve replaced on September 30, 2026. The crosshair codes guide explains the new styles and how to import a code.

m0NESY viewmodel

ProSettings lists viewmodel_fov 68, viewmodel_offset_x 2.5, viewmodel_offset_y 0 and viewmodel_offset_z -1.5. CS2's current files allow a field of view of up to 68 and a sideways offset of up to 2.5, so both are at the limit.

m0NESY stickers and skins

Valve's game files hold an m0NESY autograph for each of his seven Majors: paper, glitter, holo and gold with G2, then foil or embroidered in place of glitter with Falcons. Cologne sold stickers directly in a Major Shop instead of capsules. After the final Valve added Champions Autographs for Falcons' players, and the Ranked Series in late July gave him foil, holo and gold Ranked versions.

Three of Valve's Cologne Highlight Charms come from his final: the four-kill pistol round and a 1v2 clutch on Anubis, and his Major-winning AWP shot.

ProSettings tracks his match loadout too. On October 25, 2026 it listed a ★ M9 Bayonet | Gamma Doppler in the Emerald phase and ★ Specialist Gloves | Marble Fade as current, with an AWP | Dragon Lore, AK-47 | Wild Lotus, M4A1-S | Icarus Fell and USP-S | Kill Confirmed. The sticker filter on Buy finds guns carrying one of his autographs.
