The AWP has 52 finishes in the current game files, and more Coverts than most guns. This guide sorts the notable ones by where they came from, because on this rifle the source decides a lot: whether StatTrak exists, whether there are Souvenirs, and how many copies could ever be made.
The rifle
The AWP is a bolt-action sniper rifle that both teams can buy. The Counter-Strike Wiki lists it at $4,750 with a five-round magazine. The Dragon Lore has its own article: our Dragon Lore history covers the Cobblestone Collection, the souvenir packages and the trade-up route, so it gets only a line here.

| Oni Taiji | Operation Hydra Case | May 2017 | 0.00–0.50 |
| Neo-Noir | Danger Zone Case | Dec 2018 | 0.00–0.50 |
| Wildfire | CS20 Case | Oct 2019 | 0.01–0.70 |
| Containment Breach | Shattered Web Case | Nov 2019 | 0.00–1.00 |
| Chromatic Aberration | Recoil Case | Jul 2022 | 0.00–0.70 |
| Chrome Cannon | Kilowatt Case | Feb 2024 | 0.00–1.00 |
| Printstream | Fever Case | Mar 2025 | 0.00–1.00 |
| Queen's Gambit | Dead Hand Collection (Terminal) | Mar 2026 | 0.00–1.00 |
All of these come in StatTrak versions. The float windows are where they differ most.
Lightning Strike, from the original 2013 case, uses anodizing paints over a metallic base and is capped at 0.08, so it only exists in Factory New and Minimal Wear. Asiimov is the opposite: its window starts at 0.18, so Field-Tested is the cleanest it gets. It arrived with Operation Phoenix on February 20, 2014, two months after the M4A4 version that started the series, covered in our M4A4 guide.
Man-o'-war has a window only 0.10 wide, from 0.10 to 0.20, so every copy is Minimal Wear or low Field-Tested. Valve describes it as blue metallic paint hand-painted with gold swirls.
Wildfire came in the CS20 Case, which Valve released on October 18, 2019 to mark Counter-Strike's twentieth anniversary; it carries the Operation Wildfire logo over a black and red base. Printstream brought the black and white pearlescent design, already on the Desert Eagle, M4A1-S and USP-S, to the AWP in the Armory's Fever Case. Queen's Gambit, royal blue and gold with a hand-painted queen, is one of two Coverts in the Dead Hand Collection, sold through Dead Hand Terminals.

Coverts that never came from a case
These finishes come from map, operation or Armory collections rather than cases, and none of them can be StatTrak.
| Finish | Collection | Released | Float range |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dragon Lore | Cobblestone | Jul 2014 | 0.00–0.70 |
| Medusa | Gods and Monsters | May 2015 | 0.00–1.00 |
| The Prince | Canals | Nov 2019 | 0.00–0.60 |
| Gungnir | Norse | Nov 2019 | 0.00–0.60 |
| Fade | Control | Dec 2020 | 0.00–0.08 |
| Desert Hydra | 2021 Mirage | Sep 2021 | 0.00–0.60 |
| CMYK | Graphic Design | Oct 2024 | 0.00–0.80 |
| LongDog | Train 2025 | Mar 2025 | 0.00–1.00 |
| Sovereign Flame | Arabesque | Jul 2026 | 0.00–1.00 |
Medusa shows a gorgon and came from the Gods and Monsters Collection, one of the new collections in Operation Bloodhound. The Prince (red with gold filigree) and Gungnir (Odin's spear on pearlescent blue and ivory) come from the Canals and Norse collections, two of the three that Operation Shattered Web added as operation rewards in November 2019. Fade came from the Control Collection in Operation Broken Fang and, like other Fades, is capped at 0.08; the paint seed rotates its gradient, as our fade percentage guide explains.
Some of these have Souvenir versions. Desert Hydra, from Operation Riptide's 2021 Mirage Collection, came out of Mirage packages at eight Majors from Stockholm 2021 to Budapest 2025. LongDog, which carries the LongDog graffiti from Train, also appeared in Train packages at the two 2025 Majors.
The Armory collections are newer. CMYK came with the Armory's launch on October 2, 2024, LongDog in March 2025, and Sovereign Flame, with a golden scope and flames along the gun, in July 2026. Valve stopped offering Train 2025 in the Armory on July 8, 2026.

Classified and Restricted picks
Several early Classified AWPs have tight windows of their own. BOOM (eSports 2013 Case) covers comic-book sound effects over an orange base and runs only from 0.06 to 0.28. Graphite (Operation Bravo Case), "a memento from Agency", is capped at 0.12. Redline (Winter Offensive Case, December 2013) runs from 0.10 to 0.40, so it has no Factory New or Battle-Scarred, as the wiki also notes. Corticera (eSports 2014 Summer Case) runs from 0.06 to 0.30.
At Restricted, Pink DDPAT from the Overpass Collection is the one with Souvenir copies, from Overpass packages between 2014 and 2024, and Worm God (Chroma 2 Case) stops at 0.45.
Before you buy an AWP skin
Check the float against the finish's window: a Man-o'-war at 0.10 or an Asiimov at 0.18 is as clean as those skins come. The float guide has the tier boundaries. For Souvenirs, look at the stickers, which show the Major and whether the copy is a package drop or a 2026 Souvenir-O-Matic craft. On CS2Sell, Buy filters by float range, StatTrak and Souvenir.
