Responsible Trading

Skins are not an investment
Skin prices move with game updates, case drops, Steam policy and market sentiment, and they can fall quickly. Only spend money you can afford to lose, and don't buy skins expecting them to rise in value. CS2Sell is a marketplace: we don't run cases, raffles, crash games or anything else where the outcome is left to chance.
Know what you're agreeing to
Steam holds traded items for 7 days, and a seller's payout on a peer-to-peer sale is released only after that hold, once the trade has been verified. A trade that is reversed during the hold is refunded to the buyer. Read the returns policy and the terms before you trade.
Protect your account
- Turn on two-factor authentication under Account → Security. Withdrawals require it.
- Only install the CS2Sell extension from the link on our site. It never asks for your Steam password, and nobody from CS2Sell will ask for it either.
- Check every Steam trade offer before you accept it: the items, the partner and the trade link. Steam's mobile confirmation is the last step that protects you.
Taking a break
If trading stops being fun, step away. Email [email protected] and we'll suspend your account for the period you ask for; you can also delete your account at any time under Account → Security. Open orders and pending payouts are settled before an account closes.
Age
You must be at least 18 years old to use CS2Sell. We close accounts that we find belong to minors.
